Note: As I am a relatively new fan, this is third generation and up. Also, I am not a singer, or someone who knows much about specific vocal technique. These are simply my opinions, and what I have heard from other fans and content creators who have the ability to analyze vocals.

Mamamoo
(“MAMAMOO Profile (Updated!”, 2016)
  1. Mamamoo

It's no surprise that Mamamoo is on this list. As they are one of the best vocal groups to ever exist. All of the members have impressive vocal technique, and a unique tone. Their harmonies are unmatched, bringing all of their unique vocals together. Check out their immortal songs medley to see just how impressive their live vocals are.

NMIXX
(Bosch, 2022)
  1. NMIXX

With vocalists like Lily and Haewon, NMIXX is leading the vocals of the fourth generation. Their stability with performing live is unmatched along with their ability to cover up mistakes, making the song sound even more impressive (if you know you know). The other members are also extremely talented and all add their unique touch to their music.

I-DLE
(Themezinho, 2025)
  1. I-DLE

Similarly to Mamamoo, all of the members have such unique vocals. With Minnie’s siren vocals, Yuqi’s deep voice, Miyeon’s sweet tone, Soyeon’s strong rap and vocals, and Shuhua’s cute tone,  they all add something to their music. And the way Soyeon utilises each of the members' skills in their music is truly remarkable. With I-DLE it's not so much the members' vocal skill, but the uniqueness of their vocals that truly makes them stand out.

Wendy from Red Velvet
(“South China Morning Post”, 2020)
  1. Wendy

Wendy is definitely one of the best vocalists to ever come out of the industry, and dare I say, THE best vocalist currently active. Her control and technique are truly one of a kind as she makes even the most complicated of songs sound so easy. If you listen to her solo songs and Red Velvet’s discography, you can really hear Wendy’s vocals shine. Personally, I love whenever she does R&B songs such as “His Car Isn’t Yours” and “Vermillion.”
