Mamamoo Ranking: From Title Tracks to Solos

"Twit" encore - Hwasa's first win

I will not be ranking their entire discography as that would take way too long. This ranking will be broken down into different categories. Remember, this is just my opinion and personal taste.

Title tracks (explicitly title tracks, not including b sides with MVs)

14. “Mumumumuch” - I don’t even need to explain this

13. “Piano Man” - Their music got progressively better over time

12. “Mr. Ambiguous” - Only for the nostalgia

11. “Illela” - Honestly I would have preferred “L.I.E.C” as the title track 

10. “Yes I Am” - Such a banger, but something needed to be 10th

9. “Um Oh Ah Ye” - The MV is legendary, but the song just isn’t as good as some of their others

9. “Egotistic” - Don’t hate me for this, but personally “Egotistic” has always been forgettable compared to the rest of the 4 Seasons 4 Colors title tracks

8. “AYA” - Such a good title track

7. “Hip” - I love how this gave them so much attention, but I hate how its always the first Mamamoo song someone hears since it does not do their vocals justice

6. “Gogobebe” - Such a bop

5. “Starry Night” - Pretty much on par with “Wind Flower”

4. “Wind Flower” - I have loved this song since I first heard it in their Killing Voice

3. “Where Are We Now” - It's such a personal and emotional song that it doesn’t deserve to be any less than top three

2. “Décalcomanie” - I never get tired of this song

1. “You’re The Best” - Mamamoo’s funk jazz era has always been my favorite. I know they still have elements of their original sound in many of their more recent b sides, but I still miss it

Worst  songs

I legit searched for so long to try and find enough songs for a list. The only songs (imo) that deserve to be called Mamamoo’s “worst” are "Sky! Sky!" and "Freakin Shoes".

Solo music 

4. Moonbyul - I love her old stuff, but everything after Starlight the Muse has been really meh

3. Wheein - Some of her music is great (ex Here I Am) but I also get bored quickly if I don’t listen to her music in moderation

2. Solar - Overall her solo discography is great. “Blues” is one of my absolute favorite songs, and I love how she’s been constantly trying new things

1. Hwasa - I love all her solo music (besides “NA”, but the rest of the tracks are great). I love her vocal tone, and I could listen to her vocals 24/7

Dance Practices - They always look like they're having so much fun. I love how they never take themselves seriously

Hwasa’s first win- The way they were all so happy was so cute

“Saranghanu” - Solar cheering up her members. She is the best leader

Pink panties in Chicago - I thought this was such a funny callback. Shoutout to the moomoo who brought them
