Clearly there’s a trend here. This may just be because of nostalgia, but I personally think that their earlier music was so much better than their current music. Some of their more recent title tracts I think were especially bad. XO for me is my least favorite because of how lazy the chorus is. Their earlier title tracks at least had some substance to the chorus. Similarly, knives are so bland. It's fine, but there is nothing special about it. It just feels like a basic kpop song, and I’m already bored of it. One thing I will say though, is that I love the quality of their music videos, and the interludes in their newest album. I can't wait to see the direction that their lore is going in.
