Interesting facts:

• Moonbyul loves teasing Solar

• Moonbyul often appears on Solarsido (Solar’s YouTube channel)

• Moonbyul goes over to Solar’s house A LOT - there are quite a few instances of them talking about this

• They used to get into fist fights when they were younger

• Fans say the act like an “old married couple” - I completely agree with this

2. Hwasa and Wheein

AKA: Wheesa, Two Young Girls, Maknae Line

Interesting facts:

• They have been best friends since middle school

• They have two matching tattoos: Resonance and Caddo (which was supposed to mean “friend who shares your sorrow” but is actually the name of Indigenous group from Texas. What they actually meant to get was “Teja” or “Taysha”).

• They are from Jeonju - they go back together during a “I Live Alone” episode and during an episode of “Come Back Home”

• Fans say they are truly soulmates - it's rare to find a friendship like theirs

• The last line of “Where Are We Now” is “We shared the same dream, where are we now” which is sung by Wheein and Hwasa to represent their journey together

3. Wheein and Solar

AKA: Wheesun, Angle Line, MC Duk and MC Dak, Décalcomanie

Interesting facts:

• Created the idea for “Sleep In The Car” on the set of “1cm Pride”

• Moonbyul gave them the names “MC Duk” and “MC Dak”

• They mirror each other during “Décalcomanie,” which is how they got the name - “Décalcomanie is also slang used by moomoos to describe when two things are the same or mirror images of each other

• Duetted the song “Angel” from their album Memory

4. Moonbyul and Hwasa

AKA: Hwabyul, Rapper Line

Interesting facts:

• All that needs to be said is never let them get close together on stage - they both have flirty personalities so this always ends in something fruity that’s bound to end up in a “18+ Mamamoo stage compilation”

5. Moonbyul and Wheein

AKA: Wheebyul, Performance Line, The Cooking Line, Rice Cooker Line, Chwi-Sa Line

Interesting facts:

• They created the their line name(s) on a VLive (I couldn’t find the link but it was relatively early on)

• Wheein is Moonbyul’s favorite child

• They always do the most bizarre things (just watch their part during their Idol Radio episode)

6. Hwasa and Solar

AKA: Hwasun, Lemake Line

Interesting facts:

• The most important thing to know for them is that Solar was unexpectedly given the position as leader after their original fifth member left right before debut. Solar was definitely not a perfect leader, and Solar and Hwasa’s relationship started off rocky, with Hwasa thinking Solar hated her. They later came to understand each other after crying and holding each other. - Mamamoo has always been one of the realest groups. Their journey together has never been perfect, and they are always so honest about that
