Apocalypse Era: Maison - Bon Voyage

This is just my interpretation.

Starting off with Maison, the girls are goddesses of some sort that watch over Earth. When they see Earth in ruins because of a corrupt regime that has taken over, they go down to Earth to help. They warn humanity about the dangers of greed of the regime. This can be seen through the accents of green seen throughout the Maison MV. Despite their warnings, humanity stays ignorant and chooses not to act. The girls now need a new plan as Earth becomes more destroyed, seen by the large amounts of green in the Vision MV. They harness lighting to fight off the regime soldiers, and use it to break into the HQ. They are then able to broadcast their call for everyone to “raise [their] flags and stand [their] ground”. Through unity, they are able to fight the evil, represented by the shield that forms around Earth. Eventually, with the girls leading the charge, they are able to mostly fight off the regime, although there are still attacks here, and there, seen when Sua and Siyeon get attacked by a blast from the sky. Although everything has not been completely resolved, the girls say goodbye, and decide to leave Earth. The girls had gotten them through the worst of it, and now it was time for humanity to learn how to work together, and finally bring back peace and harmony to Earth.

I’ve also been thinking that Apocalypse could be a message about the environment. When the girls arrive on Earth it is in complete ruins. The leader of the regime is a man with a ram mask. He is likely the leader of the regime, but also represents capitalist greed. The thing that catalyzed the industrial revolution, the main reason for all of the environmental issues faced today was capitalism. We discovered that fossil fuels were an amazing resource. People decided to monopolize on this for greed, essentially turning it into a tragedy of the common.  Fossil fuels are what fueled the revolution. And out of greed, businesses used fossil fuels in factories to produce more than humanity could ever need, without any regards to the impacts of overproduction, and all of the coal being burned in factories. Greed is the root to all of our environmental problems that humanity faces today. Moving on to Vision, after the girls encourage humanity to stand together to make a difference, a huge force field surrounds Earth. This might be a bit of a stretch, but this could be them somehow using their goddess powers, amplified by humanities hope, to restore the stratospheric ozone, This could be why the first time a clear sky is seen is in Bon Voyage, after the girls have helped restore the environment, Additionally, Bon Voyage is all about leaving someone, or something even if you don’t want to, because that is what’s best. This is similar to how as much as humanity wants to now meddle with nature to try and undo all of the harm that we’ve done, the best thing to do is to leave nature alone to eventually restore itself over time, and leave it to prosper.
